The Great Deception is the second novel in the Christian end times series, Perilous Times.
The novel is about the first three and a half years of the Tribulation. The person who becomes the new leader of the world reorganizes the world into ten provinces and fixes the failing economy. Meanwhile, the trumpet judgments occur, the two witnesses appear in Jerusalem, and nothing will ever be the same again.

I have been awaiting this book and was happy to hear it has been released.The author intertwines politics, current events, and Biblical prophecy into a face paced book that continues the story set out in book one of the series. Although the names of the characters are not names the reader will recognize, the personalities ring true. I caught myself putting known faces to the characters as they were being described. I will be interested to see if others 'see' the same real people in the story that I do. Scary times ahead.
I struggled to decide if I should rate this good or great. I wanted a category between the two. At times, the story was somewhat predictable and a bit slow moving. On the other hand, the author is putting his personal spin on Biblical end time events and has an obligation to be true to the original story! I did enjoy it and look forward to book three.

The title is perfect for this book. The people are deceived over and over in this End Times novel. Once I started reading I hated to put it down. Some of the situations are taken straight out of Revelations. This book is written in such a way that makes it very believable. I am anxiously waiting the next book.
Wow! What a powerful and exciting Christian End Times Novel! I found it hard to stop reading this ebook once I had begun.
And it's a very clean reads ebook. I would like to recommend this for five stars and for all those who enjoy also these types

This end times series centers more on the political side of things. Some of the situations are portrayed as if they are eerily prophetic with today's politics intertwined in the story. If this book in the series doesn't make you watch what is going on with the election news this year, I don't know what will. Cliff Ball continues to make me wonder if he has a special insight into what is going on because his books are scarily too real. I was given a copy of this book for my honest review.
Predictable. Foolishly missing out. Even the antichrist is a mistake. The author made the antichrist a woman. Scripturally inaccurate. Boring at time. The preceding book by this author was good and interesting, but not The Great Deception.
Cliff Ball is a very interesting writer. I did not want the story to end.
Ok feels a little long. Characters weren't very developed. Story didnt seem totally original. It is ok but not my favorite.
A good book for a Christian end time story. A good representation of the end times that is in the bible.
